Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: PTA Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 6 weeks with potential to extend Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ years, including outpatient and inpatient experience License: KS state license/compact required Certifications: AHA BLS required Must-Have: Education must be appropriate to licensure (Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Science from a CAPTE-accredited program). Description: PTA needed for an immediate start. Setting includes both inpatient and outpatient care. Shifts available are either 5x8s or 4x10s during the day; please indicate preferred shift when applying. Guaranteed hours are 40 hours per week. No weekend or holiday rotation required. No float requirements or on-call/call back requirements. EMR system is transitioning from Therapy Source to ReDoc soon. The facility features a 20-bed critical access hospital with one PT room. Typical staffing ratios include two full-time physical therapists and one current PTA. Scrub colors are flexible; any color may be worn.
